Description

Completed between Christmas & New Year 2017, and still in a state of shock and devastation as it had become fully apparent to myself as to what happened - I’d entered into the centre of the event by….just being a neighbour. The cloud that I described in the previous painting had now become more fully-formed and I’d been right in the middle of it all; the view within this canvas is as if I’m looking back to see what actually hit me and I can see the ring of dense, dark cloud as well as the bottom half of the ‘sarcophagus loch’. A disturbing, therapeutic and unbelievable work.
