Description

This was probably the first painting within the theme that pointed towards something, which at the time, was definitely not on my radar; a friend who came to the 2016 show in Manchester appeared to be unsettled with the composition and mood of it and indeed, expressed this to myself. Yes - I could see that it had a brooding sky, but didn’t think anything out of the ordinary - in fact, I was confident that the next work would lift the mood…..
